Report... there was three of us fishing we coaught 84 bass, only three keepers, 1 was 4lbs,most of them were about 13 inches.caught a few bluegill.all and all it was a great day fishing,the fish were very active.we were fishing with rubber worms.

Report... Caught 18" Catfish under foliage. Used 3" shiners that were double hooked. A lot of blue gills were caught using canadian red worms.

Report... went to the river had 8 runs caught 3 shovelhead bait we used was threadfin shad trout guts bluegills nightcrawlers gizzard shad red worms shrimp we got there about 545 pm and the first run came in 10 minutes after all the poles was in the water missed it caught the first fish at 745 pm on shad 15 lbs the second fish was caught about 930 pm on thread fin shad 19.5 and the last fish was caught about 1 am on trout guts 18.9 we caught about 20 stripers and about 11 sheep head most of the sheep head came on crawfish and the stripers where on the trout guts

Report... Fished dead shiners(freshly dead) on a bobber, 3-4 ft down, landed a 7 lb channel cat, and an 11 lb channel cat. Caught about 7 largemouth bass, 1-4 lb range, boat load of crappe, fished for about 7 hours. Was the best day fishing at a.j jolly i ever had.

Report... Set up around 9am and used spinner baits and grubs for Bass, no luck after 2hrs. Moved to the Airator at one side of the lake and used shiners to catch 2 Catfish, one 4.5lbs and one 7lbs after 30 minutes, I was the only one there the entire day. Very quite very clean, nice park. I did see alot of Bass swimming around chasing the little fish around, lots and lots of bluegill and I think Crappie swimming everywhere...but none for me.

Report... I like to fish the pier at the Waterfront Restaurant, in Covington Ky.. There are a few train cars from a 1950`s train derailment down there and a 10 foot telephone cable running underwater. This is a great habitat for the 11-58 pound Blues and Channel Catfish that I catch all day long. I use tuna blood-line as bait, and catch one fish every 10-15 minutes, honestly !! I catch and release all fish, the 58 pounder was caught on 25 pound test on a surf rod using a treble hook 7inches up from a 2oz. sinker. You dont want to set your rod down EVER.... I know.....hahaha

Report... We caught 8 stripers and 2 smallmouth. We caught fish pulling planerboards with shad for bait,and fishing on the bottom to.We marked alot of bait and fish frome the mouth to mid way of the creek.The active fish were in the 30 to 4o foot range.

Report... We were drifting live bait around the river and creek chanels catching Small Mouth from 25 to 40 feet deep.We fished around 8 hours and boated 25 Smallies, from 16 to 21 1/2 inches long.

Report... landed a couple nice largemouth with a chartreuse jitterbug.. both were after sunset.. best time for largemouth fishing. especially when there is a full moon.

Report... i went to go catfishing shad was`nt running so i caught a striper and cut it up for bait caught a few nice channel cats while i was trying to snag some shad i caught about 6 or 7 drum(sheephead) in the 12 to 15 lb range and two flathead catfish.other than that no good if the shad would have been running i would have killed teh no doubt about it.

Report... Went fishing for bluegill cought 7 nice bluegill 8-11 inch while fishing for the pan fish we found that the channel cat's was very active we also cought 9 cat's fishing red worms rigging them like a plastic worm. we fished 10 to15 feet of water on and around cover.

Report... Went fishing for Crappie using small shiners. Fishing at a depth of about three feet near shoreline brush, we caught about half a dozen mid-sized Crappie. Then, wouldn't you know it, my girlfriend caught a 5lb bass. Go figure.

Report... Water level is still low at Doe Run -- maybe because it has been a dry spring. It is easy to walk the shore for the time being. I was pitching a grub for bass and crappie and flyfishing for bluegill. Caught a couple of bass in the 1lb range and a bunch of small crappie. Only a few pretty scrawny bluegill on the flyrod. All the fish came from shady steep banks. Saw a couple of folks take bass and crappie on spinnerbaits and spinners, respectively. PS: Yo, Kentucky fishing guys... submit more fishing reports!!!!
